4 th. Place Shield Award from the 2005 FYR Boy’s High School Rugby International Invitational

Founded in 2004, the La Quinta Rugby Football Club experienced many milestones and goals. First of all it developed a core of young Rugby enthusiast from La Quinta High School. They competed in 9  games with a record of 4 & 5. In our first tournament they captured the shield award which is the winner of the fourth place bracket. This competition was amongst established Rugby Clubs from Canada, Colorado, Texas, Hawaii, and California. There were 16 teams in the tourney. Additionally they competed in a summer tournament in the sand at Huntington Beach.
