• Tentative Schedule for Saturday 2/27
  

• -U12's Oceanside, Poway, & Lawndale Kick off at 1pm playing to 2pm
  

• -U16's Poway vs. Hacienda Heights Kick off at 2pm playing to 3pm
  

• -U19's Oceanside vs. Hacienda Heights Kick off at 3pm playing to 4pm
  

• -U19's La Quinta vs. Oceanside / Hacienda Heights Kick off at 4pm playing to 5pm
  

• The bus will have about 20 seats available for sale for non-players.
  

• $20 per seat unless you RSVP by Wednesday then it is $15.
  

• $30 for two parents unless they RSVP by Wednesday then it is $25.
  

• Cost for kids who come with their parents is $5.
  

• Any Person Interested MUST CONTACT La Nell Richard BEFORE DEPARTURE TO ASSURE AVAILABILITY.

How can I offset the team dues?

This Rugby Club has spent OVER $3,000 on ways to help its players with dues.  Take advantage of this generosity and start peddling!

• Club fundraising T-shirts are for sale $7.  We have them in PINK or GREY or even NAVY if you want  youth sizes.  Sell for any price.
  

• Club fundraising discount cards are for sale at $5.  They are priced to sell at $10. See Coach Ansley
  

• Knock on some of our local merchants doors and ask for a tax deductable donation.  They can also put their advertisement in our 2010 game program. Get these merchant letters from Coach Ansley.
  

• If you missed the player/parent night for some reason on September 22nd you can download the flyer that was handed out HERE.

If you are interested in filling a position or have something you believe will benefit the club please contact the President Brian Ansley.  A list of other needed positions are attached HERE.  Remember the club is run by its parents and we need help filling positions or the club will not be able to continue NEXT YEAR.

NEXT BOARD MEETING Monday January 4th at 6pm. at  the South West Church on the corner of Washington Street and Fred Waring.   All parents welcome.  Please RSVP with Jenni Cullen if you are not a board member and would like to attend.

What do I need to play?  Read below!

ALL players must have the following turned to practice by November 2nd;

• A copy of a complete doctor physical OR a school clearance slip.
  

• A signed Parent Code (click here).
  

• USA Rugby Waiver after completing the player registration form (click here)
  

• Team Registration Card (LQHS students need to get the card from Coach Ansley.)   Other schools click here
  

• A grade check form (click here)
  

A COPY OF ITEMS BELOW ON ONE PAPER

• birth certificate
  

• student ID card
  

• health insurance card
  

• parents auto insurance card (if they will be driving other players to any games)
  

RETURNING players must turn in a copy of new school ID along with their new health insurance card

What type of gear do I need to play?

• a pair of boot (cleats) without a cleat in the front (soccer style) or if you have football removable cleats you can take the front cleat off.
  

• a rugby jersey- which will not rip or tear and is technically a piece of equipment the way we use it in rugby.  Prices from $25-$125
  

• a mouthpiece- this will be provided for you when you pay your dues
  

• a long pair of socks-to protect your lower legs from multiple scratches and dings.

There are some parts of the program that are for sale on a first come first serve basis.  As pages are paid for they will be put down here to avoid confusion and embarrassment on future donations.
